A Ghanaian woman based in the United States has shared an emotional story about how DJ KA’s work helped save her life during a difficult period.
According to her, she was on the verge of ending her life until she stumbled upon a video of DJ KA passionately breaking down the lyrics and message of Daddy Lumba’s classic song ‘Nkyenkye wo nafe’
The woman revealed this touching testimony when she met DJ KA during his recent visit to the USA.
DJ KA, speaking on Kessben FM with Fante Quoo after he had returned from the USA, divulged that the woman told her that “I was about to end my life until I chanced on your video explaining Daddy Lumba’s Nkyenkye wo nafe. The way you broke down the meaning and emotions behind the song gave me hope and reminded me that life is worth living”
DJ KA, visibly moved by her confession, shared the encounter in an interview, expressing gratitude to God that his passion for promoting Ghanaian music could have such a profound impact on someone’s life.
