Head Pastor of Freedom Centre International in Luton, United Kingdom, Pastor Kelvin Baffour, has called on Ghanaians to unite behind the government’s development agenda, emphasizing that political power is temporary but national progress is enduring.

In an exclusive interview with Akua-Piesie Asare Bediako, Pastor Baffour reflected on the fleeting nature of political authority, noting that “power is transient; power goes, power comes.” He stressed that nothing remains permanent on earth, and Ghanaians should focus on peace, unity, and collective advancement rather than partisan divisions.

With President John Dramani Mahama’s administration approaching its first anniversary, Pastor Bafffour said the government deserves more time to tackle the nation’s economic and social challenges. He acknowledged that while no administration can provide employment for every citizen, efforts toward national stability and infrastructure growth must remain a top priority.

“What Ghanaians should look forward to from John Dramani Mahama’s administration is a better economy, peace, and infrastructure development through strategic investments,” Pastor Baffour said.

He further encouraged citizens to rise above political allegiances and support initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and driving sustainable development.

“Our nation can only move forward when we work together, irrespective of our political colors,” he added.

Pastor Baffour remarks come at a time when Ghanaians are assessing the early performance of the current government and setting expectations for the years ahead. His message of unity, peace, and patience underscores the vital role of collective effort in shaping Ghana’s development journey.
