In opposition, NPP is still repeating the same mistakes with internal party issues – Odotobri NPP Communications Officer, Solomon Amankwah 

The Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Odotobri Constituency, Solomon Amankwah, has expressed concern that the party continues to repeat the same internal mistakes even while in opposition.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Mr. Amankwah noted that despite the lessons the NPP should have learned from its time in government and the 2024 election defeat, some of the same challenges that affected party unity and organization are still present.

According to him, certain behaviors, including internal divisions, favoritism, and the neglect of grassroots concerns, continue to hinder the party’s efforts to reorganize and reconnect with its base.

He urged party leaders at all levels to reflect on past errors and work together to rebuild the NPP’s image, emphasizing that true progress can only come through unity, humility, and accountability.

Mr. Amankwah further appealed to the rank and file of the party to put aside personal interests and focus on strengthening the NPP ahead of future elections, reminding them that effective opposition requires discipline and teamwork.
