Ghana Condoles with Jamaica Following Hurricane Melissa Disaster

The Government of Ghana has expressed its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Jamaica following the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm that has caused widespread destruction and loss of life.

President John Dramani Mahama has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, and through him to the families of the deceased. In his message, President Mahama wished the injured a speedy recovery and expressed sympathy to those rendered homeless by the disaster.
