This is our science lab – Mankranso SHS appeals for support to renovate deteriorating science lab after historic semi-final feat

The headmaster of Mankranso Senior High School, Mr. Issah Ibrahim, has made a passionate appeal to the general public, old students, and relevant authorities to come to the school’s aid by helping renovate its deteriorating science laboratory.

His appeal follows the school’s historic qualification to the semi-finals of the Science and Maths Quiz for the first time since its establishment. Despite this remarkable achievement, Mr. Ibrahim revealed that the school faces significant challenges due to inadequate science facilities.

“Our science lab is in a very poor state. The students have worked hard and made history, but we need better facilities to sustain this success,” he said. “If the lab is given a facelift and equipped with modern tools, it will greatly enhance teaching and practical learning.”

Mr. Ibrahim praised the dedication of both students and teachers, noting that their determination and teamwork made the semi-final breakthrough possible despite the school’s limited resources.

He therefore called on government agencies, corporate bodies, and benevolent individuals to support the school’s efforts to improve its science infrastructure.

“This achievement has shown the potential of Mankranso SHS,” he added. “With the right support, we can go even further and make the community proud.”
