7th Edition of Agrofood and Plastprinpack Ghana to Create Business Opportunities

The 7th edition of Agrofood and Plastprinpack Ghana 2025 has official commence in Accra with the call for industry players to take advantage of the enormous business opportunities in the 3-day event.
Kick started from the 28th to 30th October, 2025 and organized by Fairtrade Messe in partnership with ACE Group and Geovision with players such as innovators, policy makers, industry expects, entrepreneurs to discuss agribusiness, business developments, food processing, sustainable packaging among others.
Participating exhibitors from 15 countries includes China, Cote d’voire, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Netherlands, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Director for Research at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA), Mr. George Amoah who represented the Minister of Food and Agriculture said government have taken pragmatic steps to enhance agribusiness and add value to agricultural exports.
He said the ministry’s primary goal is to scale up agribusiness in the bid to increase national revenue for the needed infrastural development of the country as well as the support for agricultural industry adding that government have put in placed the needed resources and logistics to support players in the agrifood space.
Mr. Amoah however assured of government commitment to promote agribusiness development as well stakeholders across the agricultural value claim and build partnerships to drive sustainable growth across the agricultural space.
For his part, the Ambassador of Germany to Ghana, Mr. Frederick Landshoft called on participating exhibitors to build networks and share innovations as part of the drive to leverage business and trading opportunities.
“Engage in partnerships and create linkages in the quest to grow sustainable business entities beyond the exhibition” the Ambassador added.
