Rev. Vincent Kankam has cautioned the public against dwelling on negative thoughts, stressing that excessive negativity can destroy one’s peace of mind and overall well-being.
Speaking on his Food For Thought Show on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam advised listeners to guard their thoughts carefully, noting that mental focus determines emotional health and life outcomes.
“Don’t destroy your mind by thinking too many negatives; it harms your mind,” he said. He said, If you constantly think about what is wrong, you create an atmosphere of fear and defeat within yourself. You cannot grow in faith or happiness that way.
He explained that negative thinking not only affects one’s emotions but also weakens mental strength and spiritual growth. According to him, the mind is a powerful tool given by God, and filling it with positive and hopeful thoughts attracts peace, creativity, and progress.
Rev. Kankam urged listeners to replace fear and worry with faith and gratitude. He encouraged people to read uplifting scriptures, stay prayerful, and surround themselves with positive influences. “The mind controls your life.
