Nana Kay Urges Shift in Focus: LGBTQ+ Agenda vs. Hairstyles

Aspiring NPP National Organizer Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah, popularly known as Nana Kay, has raised concerns about what he describes as the growing influence of gay and lesbian teachers in some schools, claiming they are negatively affecting students.
Nana Kay made the comments in response to Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu’s recent warning to SHS students and school authorities during the Mawuli School anniversary celebration, where the Minister cautioned against long hair and inappropriate dressing.
According to Nana Kay, while discipline and adherence to school rules are important, the Minister and parents should pay greater attention to what he called the “issue of homosexuality” among teachers and students, rather than focusing on hairstyles.
He argued that discussions around long hair are a “waste of time,” emphasizing that every school has its own rules and ethical standards to guide discipline. Nana Kay reaffirmed his belief in maintaining discipline as a key pillar in the country’s education system.
