Dr. Sam Ayeh Commends President Mahama and Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu for the launch of Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability

Dr. Sam Ayeh, Presidential Aide and Government Communications, has commended President Mahama and Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu for launching free tertiary education for persons with disabilities.
Dr. Sam Ayeh, speaking on Kessben with Kojo Preko Dankwah, revealed President Mahama’s 120-day Social Contract in which free tertiary education for persons with disabilities was inclusive.
He disclosed that persons with disabilities number over 2 million, describing the step taken by the education minister and President John Mahama as a good one that will revitalize persons with disability in Ghana.
“Some disabled people are intelligent, but because of financial barriers, they cannot further their education. President Mahama’s initiative of free tertiary education for persons with disabilities will enable them to receive quality education” He said.
He also stressed the necessity for the government to cater to the 3 or 4-year tertiary education of persons with disability. The launch of free tertiary education for persons with disabilities will help provide quality education for them. Disability is an inability,” he added.
