On a low key, NDC members are bitterly complaining about the economy, they only come on air to pretend all is well – Dr Simon Boateng

Dr. Simon Boateng, a lecturer at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) and Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Atwima Constituency, has stated some members of rulling NDC are bitterly complaining about the economy privately.
During a panel discussion on Kessben TV’s Adwenkyere with KOD, Dr. Boateng claimed that members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) are privately expressing deep dissatisfaction with the current economic situation in Ghana. However, he alleged that these same individuals adopt a different tone when appearing on media platforms.
“Many NDC members are bitterly complaining about the economy on the low, but when they come on air, they pretend all is well and act as if they have all the answers,” Dr. Boateng stated.
He suggested that this dual posture reflects political dishonesty, arguing that such behavior undermines genuine national discourse on economic recovery and development.
The Ghanaian economy continues to be a central theme in political debates since the NDC took over Government 9 months ago.
