Kumasi Ahodwo brokenhearted man hires Liveband after divorce – Okatakyie, Liveband artist shares touching story
Popular Kumasi-based live band artist, Okatakyie, has shared an emotional yet uplifting story about how music helped heal a broken heart.
In an interview with Fante Quoo on Kessben FM, the live band artist revealed that a man from Ahodwo in Kumasi once hired his band to perform for him after going through a painful divorce.
“A brokenhearted man in Kumasi Ahodwo contacted us to play liveband for him after his wife divorced him,” Okatakyie recounted. “He was deeply hurt and just wanted something to lift his spirit.”
Okatakyie and his team honored the request, putting together a special performance tailored to the man’s emotional state. According to the artist, by the end of the night, the man had brightened up and was visibly more at peace.
“He became okay after we performed for him. Music really helped him release the pain,” he added.
