Pubs in Ghana have really benefited from Daddy Lumba’s songs, All the Pubs should bring their donations to his children – CK

Popular Kumasi-based live band performer Bismark Amoako Donkor, widely known as CK, has made a suggestion about Daddy Lumba’s funeral during an interview with Fante Quoo on Kessben FM.

The energetic performer proposed that pubs across Ghana should consider giving donations to Daddy Lumba’s children, in appreciation of the legendary musician’s impact on nightlife and business.

According to CK, Daddy Lumba’s timeless songs have become the heartbeat of the nightlife scene, especially in pubs where live band music is a staple.

“Pubs in Ghana have really benefited from Daddy Lumba’s songs,” CK said. “All the pubs must bring their donations to Daddy Lumba’s children. It’s only fair” He said.

He explained that Lumba’s music not only entertains but directly boosts sales, encouraging patrons to drink, dance, and spend more. CK, who regularly performs Lumba’s classics during his shows, says the atmosphere always changes for the better when those hits are played.

“His songs turn any quiet night into a party. The man’s music has built businesses,” CK added.
