Volta Lake Accident: Vice President Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang supports the Victims in the boat accident on the Volta Lake with GHC 200,000
Oti Region Nadmo Coordinator Dzre Kwabena Foster has appreciated the efforts of the Vice President, Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, Nadmo, the transport minister, police, health personnel, and all organizations towards the tragic boat accident that occured on the Volta Lake near Kete Krachi, leading to the loss of 15 lives.
Speaking on Kessben with Kojo Preko Dankwah, Dzre revealed that the Vice President, Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang supported the families of the 7 victims who died in the boat accident with 200,000 cedis.
Maritime Authority provided 90,000 with 600 life jackets, rice, oil, soap, and took charge of the funeral arrangements and support those who survived the tragic boat accident.
He called on all organizations to help support the families of the victims and urged the need to bring people to provide psychological and financial support to the people.
He acknowledged the efforts of the Vice President for the bereaved families of the victims.
