Former Kumasi Mayor, Hon. Sam Pyne, has drawn a humorous but thought-provoking comparison between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the people of Sekyere, suggesting that within the party, everyone sees themselves as highly knowledgeable.

According to him, while having intelligent and opinionated members is a strength, it can also lead to unnecessary divisions if not managed properly.
He said in a party full of strong-minded individuals, there must be a conscious effort to promote respect, listening, and unity. Everyone thinking they know best can be a blessing or a curse, depending on how we handle it.
Hon. Pyne urged members and supporters of the NPP to embrace humility and teamwork, especially as the party navigates the competitive flagbearer race and gears up.
“The wisdom we claim must translate into strategy, unity, and winning power, not internal fights,” he added.
