Vivo Energy launches She’ll Fix to enable women receive requisite training in auto space

As part of the effort to empower women to independently take control in the mechanical auto space, Vivo Energy Ghana PLC, the exclusive distributor of shell branded fuels and lubricants has launched the SHE’LL FIX campaign project at a colourful ceremony in Accra.
The SHE’LL FIX campaign project seeks to leverage women in the fields of auto mechanics, lubrication, car safety, checking oil levels and battery without any assistance.
Speaking at the launch under the tagline, “Safety, Confidently With Skill, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Christian Li, said the initiative ties into the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and an extension of the She Power programme.
He said the project provides hands – on training which supports women to drive with independence, safety and peace of mind adding that women deserve the freedom to drive safely, confidently with the needed skills which connects to the “She’ll Fix project”
According to him, Vivo Energy takes notes of the potentials in women and pointed out that when women gain skills, it has a positive impact on societies as well as the communities, saying when women are supported and empowered with the needed tools, they become game changers across the country in the driving industry.
“Vivo Energy is set to be the first oil marketing company to equip out respective female customers with essential car maintenance skills,” he said, adding that it is an added value the company provides along side it’s shell’s premium products.
Vivo Energy in this regard is challenging all women in the driving space to take advantage of the training to enable them learn it, own it, fix it with She’ll Fix as the power to absolutely take full control of driving.
The President of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana Madam Esther Cobbah urged women in the driving space to be abreast with the learning and changing of basic tools in relations to vehicles than to rely on other sauces of maintenance.
Corporate Communications Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana, Madam Shirley Tony Kum urged women to take advantage of the training programme to enable them become self-independent in the basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles than to rely on mechanics and dear ones.
