Sacrifice in what you believe in & do not be discouraged by those who don’t see your vision – Rev Vincent Kankam
Rev. Vincent Kankam, has urged people to remain steadfast in their purpose, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice, faith, and resilience in the face of doubt and discouragement.
Speaking on Tuesday’s edition of Food For For Thought on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam said “Sacrifice in what you believe in, and do not listen and be discouraged by those who don’t see your vision.”
According to him, many dreams are lost not because they were impossible, but because people allowed the voices of doubt and negativity to drown out their inner calling. He encouraged listeners to block out naysayers and remain focused, even when the road gets lonely.
Rev. Kankam highlighted that having a vision is not enough, one must be willing to pay the price to see it fulfilled. Whether it’s sacrificing time, comfort, resources, or popularity, success always demands a cost.
He pointed out that even biblical figures and great achievers throughout history faced criticism and doubt, often from the people closest to them. He reminded the audience that not everyone will understand your journey, and that’s okay.
