NPP Poised for 2028 Victory with Strategic Rebranding, Says Vice Chairman, UK Branch, Luton Chapter

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is positioning itself for a strong comeback in Ghana’s 2028 general elections, according to Nana Bonsu, Vice Chairman of the NPP UK Branch, Luton Chapter, during an exclusive interview with Kessben Media.

Speaking about the party’s electoral prospects, Nana Bonsu emphasized the importance of strategic positioning and rebranding for future success. “It is possible,” he stated, adopting what he described as a particular candidate’s slogan while clarifying that he was not speaking on behalf of any specific individual.

“If NPP positions itself years ahead, it is possible the party will win the 2028 election,” Nana Bonsu explained, highlighting the party’s forward-thinking approach to electoral strategy.

The NPP leader drew on historical precedent to support his optimism, referencing the performance patterns of major Ghanaian political parties including the PNDC, NDC, and NPP, suggesting that these historical cycles favor the NPP’s return to power.

The NPP’s confidence appears to be built on what they view as positive developments during their previous tenure, with party leadership pointing to economic stabilization and improved international relations as evidence of their governance capabilities.

As Ghana approaches the 2028 electoral cycle, the NPP’s early positioning and emphasis on coalition-building with other political parties suggests a comprehensive strategy aimed at reclaiming political power.
