State Sponsored Abuse: NPP to embark on a demonstration over NDC Abuse of Power – Honorable – Yaw Patrick Boamah, MP, Okaikwei South

The new Patriotic Party is set to embark on a demonstration against the NDC government over abuse of power.

Honorable Patrick Boamah, speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwah on Kessben TV, revealed that the 1992 constitution was made for a significant purpose, explaining some existing institutions being tasked by nature to look after the issues of corruption and abuse of power.

He emphasized peculiar institutions like EOCO, CID, Attorney General’s Office, CHRAJ, Financial Intelligence are tasked to investigate things that affects our currency and economy in Ghana”

Honorable Patrick Boamah pointed out that people who go against the laws of the country, there are punished by institutions of the state, including the court, which punishes these people, noting the due process that is being measured with the application of law.”

He raised the issue on bail by the CID and other law enforcement agencies, stressing the bail conditions given to some leaders which he claimed it should not be use as a form of punishment or deny the freedom of the person.”
NPP was founded under the basis of the rule of law, when some leaders commits a crime, they will present themselves and face the law ”he added.
