Tamale Boutique Owner Arrested for Alleged Drug Possession

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), in collaboration with a joint security task force, has arrested the owner of Suad Collections, a popular clothing boutique in Tamale, for allegedly trading in narcotic substances. The suspect was found in possession of 2,250 wraps of a substance suspected to be cannabis, along with quantities of opioids, during a targeted operation carried out in the Northern Regional capital.

According to NACOC officials, the arrest forms part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on the illegal drug trade in the region. The suspect is currently in custody, assisting with investigations, while the seized substances have been sent for laboratory analysis. Authorities have assured the public of their commitment to combating drug trafficking and related crimes across the country.
