Don’t ever put all your trust in man – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Kankam has explained that while people may have good intentions, they are still flawed, limited, and capable of failure.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Food For Thought on Wednesday Sofoi Kankam noted that “Men can change, disappoint, or even forget you,” he noted. “But God remains faithful, unchanging, and ever-present.

He clarified that the message is not about distrusting everyone or avoiding relationships, but about not placing your full weight of hope and expectation on fallible humans. “Trust people, but never more than you trust God,” he added.

He encouraged to reflect on where their true security lies. Is it in a job, a relationship, or a promise from someone? Or is it rooted in God, who never fails?
