As you pray, make busy with something for yourself – Rev. Vincent Kankam urges (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam has urged Ghanaians not to rely solely on prayer but to pair their faith with action.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s morning motivational show, Food For Thought, Rev. Kankam emphasized the importance of hard work and self-initiative alongside spiritual devotion.
“As you pray, make busy with something. Do something. God blesses the work of our hands, not our idleness,” he stated passionately.
He argued that it must go hand-in-hand with practical steps towards personal development, entrepreneurship, or education.
He encouraged young people, in particular, to take up small jobs, learn a trade, or start a side hustle, even as they continue to seek God’s guidance and blessings.
