The removal of Chief Justice Torkonoo was purely on legal grounds – Citizen Ato Dadzie

The General Secretary of GCPP, Citizen Ato Dadzie, has stated the removal of Chief Justice was purely on legal grounds.

Speaking on Kessben TV Accra, he said the President, John Mahama followed the law adding his thoughts on seeking justice and injustice claiming that, the law in Article 146 is clear which was a factor for the removal of Chief Justice Torkonoo”

He mentioned that, a president can appoint someone to the electoral commission which is in the law” the processes of the law has been followed, he admits

Citizen stressed the need for a definition for stated misbehavior to the general public showing his dissatisfaction in the partisanship of the removal of Chief Justice Torkonoo by the President Of Ghana”
Citizen Dadzie showed his disappointment in the partisanship of the council of state becoming problematic.”

He suggested the need to remove anything that will create political nature.
Citizen Dadzie advised the need to find ways to address these matters, adding the need for further explanation on stated misbehavior to create awareness.

He cautioned the two political parties, NPP and NDC to be careful with their choice of words and actions.
