GeniusLoci Limited in collaboration with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) under the auspices of the Caritas platform has launched this year’s 3rd edition of the luckiest lottery seasonal draw in Accra.
This year’s ultimate price comes along with a whooping sum of Gh¢2.5 million for the luckiest ticket to be draw in December this year with giveaways such as smartphones, television sets, power banks among others.
The occasion was also used for the media to participate in the draw as winners in this regard took various prizes including Samsung LED Smart TV, power bank, and smart phones
Speaking at the event, Director of Marketing, Events and Caritas, Kwabena Opoku Boakye said NLA is the regulator of lotteries in the country and however commended GeniusLoci for applying best practices in the lottery space. “Our Corporate responsibilities (CSR) are derived from the dividends from such programmes”, he said adding that the proceeds are channeled in the construction and renovation of schools, hospitals, donations among others.
He stated further that tickets purchased are used for developmental projects in the country and urged the public to patronize the draw saying it makes winners proud of their respective giveaways.
For his part, the Managing Director of GeniusLoci Limited, Mr. Dennis Adutwum said the lottery is geared towards building an enabling financial environment for Ghanaians to have a sound financial base as well as support governments projects in the country.
According to him, 100 communities across the country have been earmarked for the draw and its cut across peoples from all walks of life and also serve as an avenue for redistribution of wealth across all of bodies and professionals.
“The draw was rolled out to create a platform for patrons to win cash prizes and to reward them at the end of the year”, he added.
