I don’t have is a curse language: How can your flourish If you mindset is always about begging – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam, speaking on Kessben FM’s Food For Thought, highlighted the difference between begging and becoming, stressing that when people think and act from a place of scarcity, they’re more likely to wait for handouts.
He said “You cannot flourish in life with your hand constantly stretched out. You flourish by building, creating, and believing.”
According to him, a beggar mindset traps individuals in cycles of dependence. On the other hand, a builder’s mindset, one grounded in faith, vision, and gratitude, is the foundation for long-term transformation.
To counteract the curse of “I don’t have,” Rev. Kankam encourages people to start affirming what they do have, no matter how little. Gratitude, he said, is the gateway to abundance.
He said it’s not about pretending everything is fine, it’s about refusing to surrender to hopelessness. Faith, even the size of a mustard seed, must be spoken and activated.
