Ghanaian rapper Tinny and Dancehall Artiste Jupiter to perform at 2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Cup
The 2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Cup will deliver more than just a football spectacle this Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Ghanaian artistes performing. There will be live performances from Tinny, and Ghanaian rapper and Dancehall Artiste Jupiter, promising a carnival atmosphere for fans. In attendance would be the Gbese Mantse, Nii (Dr) Ayibonte II, who is expected to perform the ceremonial kickoff, and other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion.
The Homowo festival involves a ban on drumming and noise, lifted by the Mantse. The festival includes prayers for a good harvest and community sharing of food. The 2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Cup is between Hearts of Oak vs Heart of Lions on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium at 5 pm.
The event also honors fallen heroes and promotes youth advocacy against substance abuse. Performers like Tinny and Jupiter will entertain attendees. Tickets are affordable and available online and at the stadium. Gate fees are set at GH¢5, GH¢10, GH¢20, GH¢100, and GH¢200 for VIP access.
