Make time for your spiritual body – Rev. Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Reverend Vincent Kankam has called on Ghanaians not to neglect the nourishment of their spiritual lives, warning that excessive focus on material and physical well-being without spiritual grounding leads to emptiness and imbalance.

Speaking to listeners on Tuesday morning, Rev. Kankam reminded the public that just as the body needs food, water, and rest to thrive, the spirit also requires regular feeding through prayer, reflection, worship, and time in God’s presence.

Rev. Kankam acknowledged the demands of modern life, long working hours, economic pressures, and digital distractions, but emphasized that these should not become excuses for spiritual negligence.

He encouraged listeners to build intentional habits around spiritual disciplines such as daily prayer, reading scripture, meditating on God’s word, and fellowshipping with other believers.
