No matter how serious you need something, never be too desperate for it, as you may become vulnerable – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam has urged all to exercise wisdom, patience, and discernment, even in moments of great need.
According to Rev. Kankam, desperation can cloud judgment and lead people into making decisions that they later regret, whether in relationships, finances, business, or spiritual matters. He explained that being overly desperate often leads individuals to ignore red flags, accept exploitation, or compromise their values.
“No matter how much you need something, don’t be too desperate for it,” Rev. Kankam advised. “Desperation makes you vulnerable.”
He also pointed out that in today’s society, marked by economic pressure, social comparison, and rising materialism, many people fall into the trap of desperation, which often leads them to scams, toxic relationships, or unethical decisions.
He encouraged the public to build resilience, develop their skills, and trust in God’s providence while taking responsible and proactive steps forward and be highly cautious against scammers in times of need.
