7 Months of NDC Government: I will rate them 10 out of 100, Where is the women’s bank and more ? – Janet Nabla fires

Janet Nabla, the presidential candidate of the People’s National Party (PNP), has dropped a scathing assessment of the first seven months of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, rating their performance as a dismal “10 out of 100.”
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Morning show with KOD, Anabla questioned the government’s commitment to its own campaign promises, particularly pointing to the Women’s Bank, a key pledge the NDC made to empower Ghanaian women economically.
“Where is the Women’s Bank they promised? What has changed for the Ghanaian woman, the ordinary market seller, the entrepreneur?” she asked.
“Seven months in, and the NDC government has shown very little seriousness. I rate them 10 over 100.” she said.
During the 2024 campaign, the NDC made bold commitments, including the establishment of a dedicated Women’s Bank to provide targeted financial support for women-led businesses and empower female entrepreneurs nationwide. However, according to Anabla, no visible steps have been taken since the government assumed office.
The Women’s Bank, a symbol of financial inclusion and empowerment for Ghanaian women, was expected to address long-standing barriers in access to credit, especially for rural and informal sector women. Its absence has become a talking point for critics who say the government is dragging its feet on social development initiatives.
Nabla didn’t stop at the Women’s Bank. She extended her criticism to other sectors, accusing the NDC government of lacking direction, transparency, and urgency across the board.
