If you’re born to be a farmer & you force yourself to be a politician, you will always get issues – Minister OJ

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Minister OJ has cautioned Ghanaians to pursue their true calling instead of chasing fame, money, or public approval.

Speaking on Kessben Drive with Fante Quoo, the legendary artist used a powerful analogy to drive home his point stressing, “If you are created to be a farmer and you force yourself to be a politician, you get big issues,”

Minister OJ explained that everyone is born with a unique purpose, and attempting to live outside of that calling often leads to frustration, failure, or regret.

“God doesn’t make mistakes. If your purpose is to till the land and feed the nation, do it with pride. If you abandon that to sit in Parliament just because others are doing it, you will suffer,” he emphasized.

Known for his deep, thought-provoking lyrics in songs like “Obi Nya W’aye” and “Etu Me Ho,” Minister OJ has built a reputation not just as a singer, but as a voice of wisdom. His ability to blend music with social commentary continues to inspire many across generations.
