If you take Jesus Christ as your friend, you won’t be on social media writing ‘Fake Friends’ – Rev. Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam, speaking on Friday’s edition of Food For Thought, emphasized the emotional and spiritual stability that comes from a relationship with Christ.

Sofo Kankam indicated that many people rush to social media to complain about betrayal, gossip, or people turning their backs on them. But when Jesus is your closest companion, your expectations from others change, and so does your response to disappointment

He challenged the trend of publicizing personal grievances online, especially in vague posts or so-called “subtweets” aimed at unnamed individuals.

Rev. Kankam reminded listeners that Jesus Christ remains constant, loyal, and loving, qualities we often seek but rarely find, stressing that Christ is the friend who never lies, never abandons, and never breaks His promises.”

Instead of bitterness, the Reverend urged listeners to embrace grace and let God deal with hurtful situations.
