I was borrowing phones to shoot my skits when I started but now I’m using iPhone 16 Pro Max, people said I was not funny, never give up – Asafo Powers (Killer Ntua)

One of Ghana’s leading skit makers, Asafo Powers, popularly known as Killer Ntua, has shared his story of his humble beginnings in the digital entertainment space.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s drive-time show with Fante Quoo, he revealed that when he started, he was borrowing phones to shoot his skits, recalling his early struggles. “People used to tell me I wasn’t funny at all, but I didn’t give up.” He told Quoo Fante.
Killer Ntua’s journey mirrors that of many self-made entertainers in Ghana’s fast-growing skit and social media comedy industry.

But Killer Ntua refused to be discouraged.
Instead, he doubled down on his craft, consistently releasing skits that showcased his unique blend of raw humor, relatable storytelling, and street-smart wisdom.
