KNUST Vice Chancellor Receives Laptop Donation from Oforikrom MP, Hon.Micheal Kwasi Aidoo

As part of measures to ensure quality education system in the Oforikrom constituency in the Ashanti,
The Member of Parliament for Oforikrom Constituency,Hon.Micheal Kwasi Aidoo has donated laptops to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST ) to support needy but brilliant students. This gesture aligns with the university’s One Needy Student with One Laptop (SONSOL) project, aimed at enhancing the learning experience of students in the digital age.
The donation ceremony, held at the Vice Chancellor’s office, was attended by key dignitaries, including Professor Rita Akosua Dickson , the Vice Chancellor, the Public Relations Officer, and other members of the university administration.
The MP was accompanied by party executives, Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi Esq, former MCE of Oforikrom Municipal Assembly , and other coordinators.
Receiving the donation, Vice Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the generosity. She noted that the world is rapidly moving into a technological era where electronic media has become an essential tool for teaching and learning.
The donation is a testament to his commitment to supporting education and promoting the welfare of students in his constituency. His vision is deeply rooted in his actions.
