Kejetia Market, Krofrom Market, Suame Interchange, Afari Hospital, by the grace of God, next year will be opened with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II – Mahama assures to complete Ashanti projects

President John Mahama has promised to finish a number of infrastructure projects that have stagnated in the Ashanti Region, describing the delays as an indication of neglect and broken promises.
President Mahama promised to give priority to important projects during his Thank You Tour of the area, including the Krofrom Market, the Suame Interchange, and Phase Two of the Kejetia Market.
He gave people his word that the projects, many of which the previous administration had not finished, would be finished.
“Projects we will continue and complete in this region include the Kejetia Market Phase Two,” President Mahama said.
“Before coming here, I visited the site and spoke with the contractors. We are going to accelerate the work, and by the grace of God, next year we’ll open the market with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.”
In addition, he promised to finish the markets in Krofrom and Mamponteng by 2026 and to start construction on the Suame Interchange under his suggested Big Push infrastructure project.
The Afari Military Hospital, Sewuah Hospital, and the long-delayed Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Maternity and Children’s Block are further targeted projects.
Additionally, President Mahama pledged to complete the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Medical Center’s construction and renovate Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
