I’m now afraid for my life, NDC have been threatening me to leave my work at NHIS – NPP Youth Organizer Raphael Sarfo cries on Kessben FM

In an interview on Kessben FM, Raphael Sarfo Patrick of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who works at the Asokore‑Mampong National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) office has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of repeatedly stalking him in an attempt to force him out of his position following the NDC’s rise to government.
Speaking on Kessben Maakye, he claimed that since the NDC took office, unknown individuals suspected to be aligned with the party have been trailing him and visiting the office repeatedly.
He said the aim appears to be intimidation, to prompt his resignation or removal.
While it’s not the first time political intimidation in Kumasi has been alleged, this marks a sharp escalation given the target is an NHIS official.
The NHIS has recently been a flashpoint in partisan battles. Party youth have locked up offices in Tamale and Koforidua, alleging they were staffed by appointees.
