Lack of patience is destroying modern marriages & relationships, A little bit of patience can save you a lot – Rev.Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Reverend Vincent Kankam has attributed the growing rate of broken marriages and failed relationships in Ghana to one major issue: a lack of patience.

Speaking on the Tuesday edition of the Food For Thought Show on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam emphasized that many couples today are quick to give up on their unions at the first sign of conflict, instead of working through their issues with understanding, forgiveness, and maturity.

Rev. Kankam noted that disagreements, misunderstandings, and disappointments are inevitable in any relationship, but it is how couples handle those challenges that determines the strength and longevity of their union.

According to some studies and anecdotal evidence from family counselors, many unions fall apart within the first few years due to poor communication, unrealistic expectations, financial stress, and emotional immaturity.

He called on both men and women to re-embrace the values of patience, compromise, and spiritual grounding when entering into or building relationships.
