“Ghanaians don’t listen to my songs, but I do good music” – Ghana’s next Black Sherrif, Yaw Winna pleads for Ghanaians to pay attention to his craft

Rising Ghanaian artist Yaw Winna has shared his struggles as an up-and-coming musician, revealing on Kessben TV’s Music show that despite putting out quality songs, Ghanaians have not yet paid attention to his music.

In a conversation with popular host Mr. Bonez, the young musician said he’s aware of his talent and the effort he puts into his craft, but admits that recognition has been slow to come.

“Ghanaians don’t really listen to my songs, but I know I do good music. Maybe my time hasn’t come yet,” Yaw Winna said during the interview.

While he did not express bitterness, he acknowledged the emotional weight of working hard, producing quality songs, and still remaining unnoticed by the mainstream audience.

Known for his Afro-fusion and soulful lyrical style, Yaw Winna says he remains committed to making music that reflects real emotions and everyday struggles.

Host Mr. Bonez, known for spotlighting emerging artists across Ghana, praised Yaw Winna for his honest and humble spirit, encouraging him not to give up.
