The Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) contingent to represent Ghana at the 2025 World FISU Games in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany

The GUSA Team is set to represent Ghana in the 2025 International University Sports Federation (FISU) Games from July 16 to July 28, 2025 in Germany. The Team comprises talented student-athletes from the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Cape Coast, University of Education, Winneba, University of Development Studies and the University of Energy and Natural Resources competing in track and field events.

Expectation
We are pleased to share this exciting news about the GUSA Team who have committed themselves to hard work to come onto the world stage. They are expected to keep up the commitment and resilience to win medals. We extend our best wishes to the Team.

Brief Profile of GUSA and FISU
GUSA is the regulator of sports in the public universities in Ghana. The Association’s mandate is to promote sports, and organize sporting competitions in the universities and also feature Ghanaian university students who are talented athletes in global competitions.

FISU is the global governing body for university sports. It is responsible for organizing and overseeing international sporting competitions for student-athletes. FISU’s main goal is to promote sportsmanship, healthy competition, and international collaboration among university students worldwide.
