I got the tattoos after becoming a Pastor, and it’s not about fashion or gangsterism but to win souls for Christ – Eagle Prophet

Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, widely known as Eagle Prophet and the General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, has cleared the air about his tattoes on Kessben FM’s drive-time show with Quoo Fante.

He disclosed that he got his tattoos after becoming a pastor, but not for reasons many might assume.

Eagle Prophet clarified that his tattoos are not an expression of fashion or “gangsterism.” Instead, he said they were done out of personal conviction and a strategic approach to his calling.

“I did the tattoos after I became a man of God,” he told Quoo Fante. “It’s not for show. It’s not for fashion. I did it to make people on the other side feel comfortable… to win souls for Chris

Eagle Prophet emphasized that his decision was not taken lightly but was inspired by a deep spiritual purpose. According to him, the church must learn to connect with people from all walks of life, especially those who feel outcast or judged by their appearance or lifestyle.

While some applaud his unconventional approach as an example of meeting people “where they are,” others question whether such methods align with traditional church expectations.

However, Eagle Prophet remains firm in his conviction, insisting that the core mission of his ministry is not to conform to religious appearances but to transform lives.
