6 months in Governance and there is no scandal, It tells you how Mahama’s appointees are overly cautious – Solomon Anane

Solomon Anane, the Ashanti Regional Manager of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), lauded the leadership style of the current NDC government.
According to Anane, six months since President John Mahama’s return to office, none of his appointees have been embroiled in scandal.
“NDC appointees are being ultra‑cautious in carrying out their duties, ensuring transparency every step of the way.” He added that this caution has paid dividends, with “not a single public controversy or financial misstep” reported among central appointees nationally.
“We’ve reached mid‑year 2025 without any negative headlines tied to our leadership or government officials, an uncommon achievement in public office.”
He attributed the clean record to rigorous vetting procedures, strict internal accountability, and political leadership that signals “no tolerance for impropriety.”.
Anane emphasized that vigilance must continue: “Our message isn’t ‘mission complete, it’s ‘mission ongoing.’ We must build and institutionalize these transparent processes so that they survive beyond the next audit.
