Stop generalizing that men or women are not good because of one or two broken hearts you have suffered in your past relationships – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam has said that people should stop generalizing that men or women are not good because of one or two broken hearts you’ve suffered in your past relationships.”
Rev. Kankam, speaking on Kessben FM’s Food For Thought, addressed the growing trend of individuals painting all men or women with the same brush after experiencing emotional pain or betrayal.
Rev. Kankam emphasized that healing is an essential part of growth after a failed relationship, but generalizing an entire gender only spreads negativity and prevents meaningful connections. “Just because someone hurt you doesn’t mean love is dead.
He encouraged listeners to approach new relationships with an open mind and heart, rather than dragging the weight of past disappointments into new beginnings.
Rev. Kankam also pointed to the current generation that plays in amplifying bitterness, with many users turning personal heartbreaks into viral generalizations. He cautioned that while it’s healthy to express pain, it’s also important not to adopt toxic mindsets that poison future opportunities for love and companionship.
His message was particularly directed at young people, who he says are increasingly influenced by trending heartbreak stories and often mimic cynical attitudes toward love.
