NPP communicator Dr Enoch Acheampong warns NDC’ Hussein live on air for posting his video on social media for netizens to troll him

Dr. Enoch Acheampong, a known communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a stern warning to National Democratic Congress (NDC) member Hussein Ibrahim over what he described as a deliberate act of online misrepresentation.

The exchange unfolded on a popular political talk show “Adwekyere” on Kessben TV where both men were invited to discuss current national issues.

During the discussion, Dr. Acheampong called out Ibrahim for allegedly taking a short excerpt from one of his previous videos and circulating it on social media in a manner that distorted the original context. According to Dr. Acheampong, the clipped video was used to incite mockery and public trolling against him.

“You took just a part of the video, edited it, and posted it for people to laugh at me,” Dr. Acheampong said during the broadcast, visibly displeased. “Let me tell you, I’m Enoch. I have more years ahead of me. Be very careful.”

The pointed remark appeared to serve as both a warning and a reminder of the long-term nature of political careers and reputations. Dr. Acheampong’s statement suggests that such tactics, which may yield short-term amusement or partisan gain, could have deeper consequences in the future.

Dr. Acheampong’s direct and personal response signals a shift in how political figures may begin addressing misinformation and mockery in the digital space by calling out perpetrators publicly and holding them accountable in real time.
