“I’ve been appointed by the GFA to lead the Management Committee of the U19 championship” –  Abdul Salam Yakubu confirms

President of New Edubiase United, Abdul Salam Yakubu, has confirmed his appointment as the Management Committee Chairman of the upcoming U-19 Championship by the Ghana Football Association.

Speaking in an interview with Kessben Midfield Action show, he confirmed his appointment and show his readiness to help the progression of Ghana Football.

“I’ve been appointed by the GFA to lead the Management Committee of the U19 championship, we have started already and we are going to host it in Prampram, I will be working with RFAs according to our program lineup”

“My appointment doesn’t mean I will keep mute when something is going wrong in Ghana Football, I accepted the appointment because this is the third time President Kurt is calling on me to help Ghana Football, meaning he has seen something good in me that can help our football progress.”

Salam has gathered experience in football administrator, been the Management Committee Chairman of the Ghana U-17 and served on other GFA committees under the old GFA Administration.

The Ghana Football Association Inter Regionals U-19 championship is scheduled to take place in Prampram next Month.
