Baseke Holy Stars brought 20-machomen with guns and machetes to the stadium & said if Baseke Holy Stars don’t win the game, blood will flow – Kennedy Boakye Ansah

The Brands Manager of Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has revealed alarming details about an incident involving Basake Holy Stars supporters during their boycotted Ghana Premier League match last Sunday vs the Nzema based team.

Kennedy speaking with Joe Laka on Kessben TV divulged tha, a group of approximately 20 individuals armed with guns and machetes entered the stadium, issuing threats that “blood will flow” if Basake Holy Stars did not secure a victory.

This intimidation led to Nations FC’s decision to boycott the match after a few minutes of Kickoff when the home side were leading by 1-0.

The incident has raised serious concerns about fan behavior and safety in Ghanaian football. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has yet to comment publicly on the matter, but such allegations highlight the need for stringent measures to ensure the safety of players and officials during matches.

Before the game, Nations FC had been the favorite to win the Ghana Premier League with 2 games to go, as the home team had been battling relegation.
