Theatre Without Borders: Ghana’s Globe Productions Embarks on Global Tour

Ghanaian creative production outfit, Globe Productions, has launched an exciting initiative to take authentic Ghanaian stories to theatres worldwide. The “Ghana Must Go” roadshow, supported by the Ministries of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, and Foreign Affairs, aims to promote Ghana’s culture, tourism, and investment opportunities.
A Story of Ghana’s Potential
The play, “Ghana Must Go,” follows a tourist-turned-investor’s journey, showcasing Ghana’s beauty, opportunities, and potential. Through music, dance, humor, and drama, the production tells Ghana’s story in a way that touches hearts and stirs action.
Global Tour
The “Ghana Must Go” global tour will visit major cities in Africa, Europe, Asia, and America, starting from Accra. The production is expected to attract over 2,000 high-value tourists and investors in each city.
Minister’s Endorsement
Minister of Tourism, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, emphasized the importance of embracing Ghana’s unique cultural heritage to drive progress and development. She urged Ghanaians to appreciate and promote their own culture.
A Movement
Latif Abubakar, CEO of Globe Productions, described “Ghana Must Go” as a movement, inviting the world to see Ghana as a land of investment, innovation, and endless possibility. He appealed to corporate entities to sponsor the project.

The initiative is a collaboration between Globe Productions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and public and private sector partners. The government hopes to position Ghana as a premier destination for tourism and investment.
