“All 13 donated buses are registered, dismiss Social Media claims as false – GFA President Kurt Okraku clears the air

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has firmly denied reports circulating on social media that some football clubs are unable to use the buses donated to them due to registration challenges.
Speaking during an interview on Kessben FM, the GFA boss set the record straight, stating unequivocally that all 13 buses distributed to clubs have been fully registered and are ready for use.
“Let me be clear, all the 13 buses we donated to the clubs have been registered. Any claim that clubs can’t use the buses due to registration issues is simply not true” He stated.
The GFA president expressed concern over the increasing spread of misinformation online, particularly surrounding the Association’s initiatives aimed at supporting clubs and improving football infrastructure in the country. According to him, the recent social media reports are part of a broader trend of negativity that undermines genuine progress being made.
The donation of the 13 buses was widely celebrated as a major milestone in the GFA’s commitment to easing transportation burdens on local football clubs. The initiative, part of a broader strategy to professionalize and support club operations, received praise from stakeholders across the football community.
Kurt Okraku emphasized that the GFA took every necessary step to ensure that the buses were not only delivered but also legally registered and roadworthy, enabling immediate use by the recipient clubs.
