Rev John Fordjour’s Claims Are Baseless – Dr Williams Atta Owusu

Dr. William Atta Owusu, a communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), dismissed the claims as baseless, stating that Rev. Fordjour never confirmed the presence of cocaine on board.

The Ranking Member of Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has raised alarm over airplanes that reportedly landed in Ghana under suspicious circumstances.

Rev. Fordjour apparently called for a thorough investigation as he believes the aircraft may have been carrying illegal substances.

The development has since stirred public interest and political commentary.

Dr. Owusu, speaking on Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi, stressed that Rev Fodjour’s claims did not have any concrete evidence.

He also insisted that the assertion about drugs being on the aircraft remains speculative.

As the debate continues, calls are growing for security agencies to step in and provide clarity.

The public remains eager for answers, as the issue raises broader questions about national security and accountability at Ghana’s entry points.
