Kessben donates GHC100,000 plus 500 bags of cement to Adum BlueLight fire traders/victims

The Kessben Outreach Foundation, under the leadership of Lawyer Stephen Boateng Esq., has made a generous donation to the victims and traders affected by the devastating Adum Bluelight fire in Kumasi. The foundation contributed a total of GHC100,000 and 500 bags of cement to assist with the rebuilding efforts, providing crucial support to the displaced individuals and local traders whose livelihoods were severely impacted by the fire.
On Wednesday, Sammy Adu Boakye, Head of Programs at Kessben Media, led a delegation from the Kessben Outreach Foundation to the fire site to present the donation. The handover ceremony, which took place at the scene of the disaster, was a moment of hope and solidarity for the victims, who have faced immense challenges in the wake of the fire that destroyed their shops, merchandise, and stalls.
Speaking during the presentation, Sammy Adu Boakye expressed the foundation’s commitment to supporting those in need, especially in times of crisis. “The fire has caused significant hardship for the traders and families in Adum Blulight, and it’s important for us, as a responsible corporate entity, to show compassion and lend a helping hand. This donation is just a small gesture of our solidarity with them, and we hope it will assist them in rebuilding their lives and businesses,” he said.
The fire, which broke out a fortnight ago, left many traders in Adum Blulight without their means of income and forced several families to face the daunting task of starting over. With the donation of GHC100,000, the Kessben Outreach Foundation aims to provide immediate relief to the victims, helping them cover some of the immediate costs of recovery.
In addition to the financial support, the donation of 500 bags of cement is intended to help with the reconstruction of the affected shops and structures. The cement will be used to rebuild the damaged stalls, ensuring that the traders have the necessary resources to return to business as quickly as possible. Many of the traders have expressed relief, knowing that they will be able to rebuild their businesses with the help of the cement donation, which will speed up the reconstruction process.
The donation was warmly received by the affected traders and victims, who expressed deep gratitude to the Kessben Outreach Foundation for its swift response and generosity. Many of the traders, who had been left uncertain about how they would recover, thanked the foundation for its support in their time of need.
The Kessben Outreach Foundation, known for its philanthropic activities, continues to play a vital role in providing support to communities in distress. Lawyer Stephen Boateng Esq., the founder of the foundation, has long been an advocate for corporate social responsibility and giving back to society. Through the foundation’s continued efforts, many individuals and communities have benefited from various initiatives, including educational support, health care donations, and disaster relief efforts.
