We even rear and live peacefully with wild animals like snakes and lions, so learn to live with people – Rev Vincent Kankam

The host of Kessben FM’s Dawn Motivational Show “Food For Thoughts,” Rev. Vincent Kankam has shared a powerful message about peaceful coexistence, both with nature and among people.

Speaking on the Monday edition of his show, Rev Kankam, known for his thought-provoking insights and motivational talks, emphasized the importance of peaceful living and mutual understanding in our daily interactions, using an intriguing analogy: human beings can rear and live harmoniously with wild animals, such as snakes and lions, so why can’t we do the same with other people?

Rev Kankam’s message was clear: If humans are capable of coexisting with wild and sometimes dangerous animals, surely they should be able to peacefully live with each other, despite differences in personality, beliefs, or backgrounds. He explained that, for centuries, people have managed to tame and rear wild animals like snakes, lions, and elephants, all of which are capable of causing harm. Despite the inherent risks, many have learned to develop bonds with these animals, treating them with care, respect, and understanding.

The host pointed out that, if human beings can show such patience and wisdom in living with creatures that could potentially be dangerous, then it is only logical that people should strive to foster better relationships with one another. According to Kankam, conflict and misunderstandings among humans are often a result of ignorance, fear, and lack of communication, rather than insurmountable differences.

Sofo Kankam emphasized the need for empathy and a deeper understanding of each other. Just as people learn to respect the boundaries and nature of wild animals, they should also take the time to understand their fellow human beings. He stressed that peace begins with respect and the willingness to put aside personal grievances for the collective good.

The call for peaceful coexistence is especially relevant in today’s increasingly divided world. From politics to personal relationships, conflicts seem to abound, and Kankam’s message is a timely reminder that the power to resolve these conflicts lies within us all. By applying patience, empathy, and communication, individuals can navigate even the most challenging situations with grace and respect.
