Black Stars train ahead of CHAD encounter with 8 players on day 1

Three goalkeepers were among the early arrivals: Joseph Wollacott (Crawley Town), Lawrence Ati-Zigi (St. Gallen), and Benjamin Asare (Accra Hearts of Oak). Among the defenders in attendance were Razak Simpson (Nations FC), Gideon Mensah (Auxerre), Mohammed Salisu (AS Monaco), and Kamaradini Mamoud (Medeama SC). Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) and Kamaldeen Sulemana (Southampton FC) were the attacking players in training.
Given that a number of players from overseas had not yet arrived, the poor turnout was anticipated. The newest members of the team, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Jerry Afriyie, and Lawrence Agyekeum, will participate in the second practice on Tuesday.
It is anticipated that the remaining members of the team will join in the days leading up to Friday’s match.
To conclude the March international break, Ghana will host Chad in Accra on March 21 and then travel to Morocco to play Madagascar on March 21.
