Ashanti NPP Organiser Activates Party’s Base With Clean-Up Exercise

Mr. Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun a clean-up exercise aimed at energising the base of the party.
On Thursday, the 6th of March, the Regional Organiser together with the Oforikrom Member of Parliament and constituents including the NPP Students wing cleaned the Ayeduase township.
Numbering about 300, the NPP members with rakes, brooms and other cleaning and clearing equipment tidied the Ayeduase communities as they also collected the debris with wheel barrows.
Singing and chanting NPP songs with some wearing branded T-shirts, the participants entered big and small markets at Ayeduase and tidied up the environments.
Regional Organisation:
Speaking to the media after the exercsie, Mr Francis Adomako expressed determination to use clean- up exercises to energise the base of the party.
He also disclosed that he had drawn up a program for the region where his outfit would organise clean-up exercises with each of the 47 constituency branches of the NPP.
These exercises, Mr Adomako stated would also be used to tell others about the NPP and the need to keep faith with it while it reorganises itself for the next General elections.
“It is true that we lost the 2024 General election abysmally but we remain undaunted. As a party we are determined to find all the reasons for our loss while deploying our energies to activate our support base”, the Regional organiser noted.
Oforikrom MP:
On his part, Hon Michael Aidoo, Member of Parliament for Oforikrom thanked the Regional Organiser for the initiative.
He also praised the efforts of his constituents especially the students wing of the NPP in KNUST as well as the Assembly Member for the area for their selfless service to the party over the years.
The MP promised to sustain the social activities of the party including the clean up exercises.
“We are grateful to be the first to host this activation drive of the Regional Organiser and we promise to sustain same so that we can use it to build a solid party and constituency for the future”, the MP intimated.
